What’s new withThe Chot Zone Fitness Studio?

The Chot Zone is now located at 952 Winchester Rd., suite 5. in Studio B. We are housed with WFFC-DB internet radio, known as F&F Communications. Here you can come and get your praise on and get the weight off all at the same time. What Does the Chot Zone Offer?

The Chot Zone offers one-on-one personal training as well as virtual training. We also specialize in Exercise Therapy upon the release of your physical therapist. The Chot Zone will also hold group fitness classes, Zumba, boot camps, fitness camps and nutrition classes upon request with a group of 6 or more.

Who Does the Chot Zone Serve?

The Chot Zone serves anyone who is ready to make a lifestyle change. I also serve anyone who may have a specific injury or condition in which your doctor has suggested you see a personal trainer. As a trainer, I work with all kids of people and specialize in Exercise Therapy, which allows me to work with special needs clients.

Winter Wellness 2023

The winter months can lead to unhealthy habits, especially now that the days are shorter and the weather colder. If you were that person who was health-conscious, exercised regularly, and ate your fruit and veggies; you may have found yourself now to be a couch potato and eating a lot of junk food. Your health is important now than ever before no matter what your age. In this this newsletter are a few health and wellness tips for Winter to help you stay in good health. The thing about these tips are they are easy as well as practical. If you start now with these wellness tips, you will begin to form a habit and be back to your health-conscious ways in no time!!

Health and Wellness Tips for Winter

¨ More time is spent indoors during the winter, which means doors and windows are shut and air quality is low. This can lead to air pollutants and allergies, which can have an impact on your health. To help with this:

Check your filters regularly, wash sheets weekly, vacuum and spend some time outside.

Keep Your Hands Washed

¨ Being this is COVID, Flu, RSV season, washing your hands is a simple and effective way to help prevent the spread of germs and stay healthy.

Get Your Flu Shot

¨ Vaccination is key to avoiding the virus and most effective way to help prevent the flu

     as washing hands can only do so much.

Stay Hydrated

¨ Dehydration is not associated with winter, but your body loses a lot of fluid during the cold winter months. Make a point to drink water and replenish fluids. Drink at least half of your body weight in fluids.

Stay Active

¨ It can be hard to stay motivated during the winter, but adults need a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity each day.
