Love You To Life!

About Me

Hello,

I'm Chot of The Chot Zone, welcome to my site!  My name is Cholottie Fields and I became interested in health and wellness in my teenage years due to having high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have always been active and have never had a weight problem; however, just have not always been healthy. People have such misconceptions that if you are skinny; you must be healthy, and if you are over weight, you must have high blood pressure and diabetes.  At age 13, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol and was placed on a low sodium diet. I was taught by the nutritionist how to eat right with handouts and was already active, so I had somewhat of a little advantage.  I began to read more on the subject and not only did it become my lifestyle, but my passion.

I studied Health and Wellness at Eastern Kentucky University, but at the time I was enrolled, you could only get a teaching degree. Then I came across Kaplan University (Perdue), where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Wellness and where I was able to receive the education and guidance that I needed to be successful in my field. I am currently an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and owner of The Chot Zone Personal Trainer Studio. My passion is to own my own wellness center, where I will provide resources for the community to live a life of good health and wellness through exercising and eating right as well as teach them how important it is to live a balanced life. This is important to me because like many, I lived a very hard life. My mom worked very hard to raise four children and we didn't always have the food to eat. I learned to fast at an early age and even then, resources were scarce. No one should be hungry or have to want for anything. So I have had food drives to raise food for our church food bank, my family and I volunteered for the Angel Food Ministry for many years at our church, to help assist families with their food bills where they could get a box of food for not even half of what they would pay at the grocery store. Not only is it important that you be physically fit, but nourished and mentally well.

I tell people that I love them to life because life is precious and anyone that knows me can tell you, I speak positive, I'm gonna find the good in you and that I am always optimistic.  I believe that part of my calling is to help bring life back into people who feel defeated, unmotivated, lack positivity, and who has had the wind knocked out of them. I believe God gave me the gift to not only help you be restored physically, but mentally, after all if you are strong in your mind, you will be strong in other areas of your life.  My reward is to see the transformation in each and every client.

Thank you for visiting my site; I look forward to hearing from you.

I love you to life,

Chot
